Privacy Statement

CSV to Excel  ·  Last updated: April 2026

CSV to Excel is a Windows desktop application that converts CSV files to styled Excel (.xlsx) files. This privacy statement explains what data the application collects and how it is used.

Data collection

CSV to Excel does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or user information. All file processing — reading CSV files and writing Excel files — is performed entirely on your local device. No data is sent to external servers or third parties.

Network usage

The application does not make any network requests. It does not use analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or any other form of internet communication.

File access

The application reads CSV files that you provide and writes Excel files to the location you specify. It does not access, read, or modify any other files on your system.

Third-party components

CSV to Excel uses open-source libraries (ClosedXML, CsvHelper, Serilog, WPF-UI) to provide its functionality. These libraries operate entirely locally and do not collect or transmit data independently.
